The Toronto Centre for Active Transportation (TCAT), a project of Clean Air Partnership, is pleased to announce that registration is now open for our seventh annual Complete Streets Forum, taking place on October 6th, 2014 at Daniels Spectrum in downtown Toronto.

The Complete Streets Forum is an influential event that brings together hundreds of professionals, decision-makers and community members from the Toronto region and beyond. Each year, exit surveys show a high satisfaction rate and interest in attending future events. The Forum provides a unique opportunity to share research, best practices, and creative solutions for designing and implementing Complete Streets – streets that are safe, accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

It’s an exciting time for Complete Streets in Canada with more municipalities each year adopting Complete Streets policies, developing guidelines and incorporating a new approach to transportation that embraces a more holistic approach to how we build our cities. Yet we know much more needs to be done to continue to build momentum for the positive direction we’re on. In light of this, our overall conference theme is “Building Momentum for Complete Streets.”
